Grapping
Grapping involves attaching several wax pieces to a wax rod, forming what is known as a wax tree.
This process, called tree making, efficiently groups the pieces for the next stages of production while ensuring optimal organisation for casting.
Once the pieces come out of wax injection, they are attached one by one to the central rod, keeping the necessary space between them and a good flow angle, so the metal fills every detail without defects.
The placement of the pieces on the tree is decisive: well distributed, it limits the risk of porosity and makes die casting easier. After casting, each piece is cut from the tree and reworked during finishing.

Once the tree is ready, it is weighed to calculate the amount of metal needed, then sent to casting. Discover every step on our services page.
